So I have been quite busy this last week with Christmas gatherings and what not. To start I went deer hunting with Doug and he got me up at 5am I was soooo tired and we got all camouflaged up and headed to the deer stand. We said that we would leave at 10 so we sat there. We watched the sun rise and whispered a little bit. It was nice to just be out in the quiet nature. We didn’t see any deer until about 940 and we saw a button buck and a doe, so we didnt shoot. Then we headed up to the truck and his cousin and uncle where there and they put up a paper target and let shoot a gun. They just laughed at how awkward I looked doing it haha. It was fun many firsts =)
Then we went to his house and rode the four-wheelers around for a bit and he let me drive…. probably not the best idea but he trusted me haha. It was so much fun and made me love living in the country again. I loved getting to see what he does for fun. He amazing and I love him for everything he is!
So my boyfriend calls me today and asks if I want to come deer hunting with him on Saturday…….. I say yes because I miss him a lot and I secretly have always wanted to go deer hunting. Then he tells me that it’s only gonna be us so if he kills one I have to help dress it. I asked what all that entailed… he said ya know ripping the guts out and stuff. WHAT HAVE I GOTTEN MYSELF INTO?? Well it will definitely be an experience… a very early morning experience. But I cannot wait to see him. It’s a 2 hour drive but totally worth it for my boo =)

Friday night my boyfriend came into town Friday night and boy was I happy to see him. When he came to the door I practically jumped on him. We got ready pretty fast because we were both pretty hungry and we went to eat at Chili’s which is one of my favorite places to eat. We had to wait for like 30 mins and there was this sign right in front of us that had the loaded potato appetizer on it so when we finally got a table we ordered it first instead of the drinks haha. We ate our appetizer and our meals and then to top it all off we got a Paradise Pie. It was incredible!
Then we came home and my parents were gone on an overnight trip so we had the house to ourselves. We opened our gifts and lest just say that Doug did wonderful =) He got me a one of my favorite scents of lotion, some bubbles baths because he knows how much I enjoy those. He got me my FAVORITE CANDIES!!! Milkway Midnights and Starburts =) Then for the best gift he got me a beautiful heart bracelet. My mom is soooo jealous of it =) After we opened gifts we cuddled on the couch and watched the book of Eli and then we went to bed. It was so great to be near him again =)
Yesterday we woke up at like 11 and laid around and then got ready to go eat Mexican. Then we drove around Munford for a little bit because I wanted to see the town and show him around a bit. We came home for a bit and then I decided that I really wanted to go see Happy Feet 2 3D. So we went and he told me about how he used to go to Memphis Sound camps at my high school and he always said he was gonna go to that movie theater one day. Well that one day came. We came home and watched the end of the Memphis game and of course they lost….. the we went out to Rendezvous with my mom and dad. We got Ribs yum yum yum. Then went to the Peabody Hotel to look at the pretty decorations and hear the piano player. It was a great great night =)
This morning he got up and hung out for a little bit as he played with my cats. Then, my mom made us breakfast and he had to head out. It was great to see him again and now I have to wait another 2 weeks. But at least we can text and call for now. It sure wont be like that this summer. I think it’s nap time so..

As I write this my boo is about 45 minutes away. He called me about 30 minutes ago and said get dressed I am taking you out to eat! I am sooo excited that he is coming to visit! So hear I am looking cute ready to go out and I am just ecstatic! Since we have been dating we have not gone this long without seeing each other… granted its been 7 days but still. I am just glad that in this time apart we haven’t fought at all. This is not usual for me. With past boyfriends during breaks we have always fought about something or another. I believe its usually over communication. But that is something that he is so good at. Even over Thanksgiving I never had to ask him to call or anything he just did it like a guy should…. He’s perfect even my mom thinks so. She keeps asking me where I found him. But I am super duper excited that he is on his way. I cannot wait to see him =) I will update later about the night!!
